It makes me feel a little bit like a basic ass creative writing 101 dork, but I think Scrivener really is a pretty fantastic piece of software. This is exactly what I've been looking for in my Notion/Obsidian experimentation.

These people are just so fucking stupid and they are going to destroy the entire economy and then be shocked about it. Morons.

There's a threshold of % of people in a room who are hard of hearing that when you surpass it turns every conversation into an Abbott and Costello routine.

I completely forgot there's an episode with Gunter wearing a Christmas sweater. I've been using Gunter as my avatar for like 12-13 years and never thought to use it.

This is completely unrelated to any christmas morning cooking I'm doing before heading to the family and certain ingredients I may have just realized I don't have...but I feel like some people can't rotate a cube in their head, and some people can't conceive of what 2 tastes will be like together

I hope all the little homies all across the land are getting really sick presents this morning. 🎁

Merry Christmas all! 🎄

They're going to let AI dice make the dumbest fucking decisions you can imagine and then punish real humans for it not working out
“.. In an age of A.I., where all the white-collar jobs are going away pretty damn quick, I think maybe it’s a good time for people to think about having good blue-collar jobs,” Peter Navarro, the president’s top trade adviser, told CNBC.

it's Christmas Eve but it's also the 16 year anniversary of the time an art historian for the Hungarian National Gallery spotted a long lost painting while watching Stuart Little with his 3-year-old daughter, recognizing it in the movie set

This feels like it narrows down the leakers identity to somebody born in a VERY specific age range who hasn't had to go outside normal channels since they were a teenager lmao
“the 60 minutes CECOT documentary leaked on limewire dot com” is a real sentence that’s real in this year of our lord 2025

This was clearly written by @jcsalterego.bsky.social so he can sucker more people onto this site where he can torment them.
Who is asking for this

My youtube algorithm is being so disrespectful at this point. "You want to want a 6th video today of 2 randos you've never heard of talking about how the Panthers are turning out to be good? Yea you do you piece of shit, you know you'll eat this up"

In retrospect we should have known america was completely cooked the second the liberal establishment became obsessed with a rapping musical about the founding fathers

It's insane. I bought a Mazda explicitly for this reason. It's one of the ultra-rare cases in the modern world where a product chose the thing that actually works better in the face of the flashy thing
the Mazda shareholders were apparently begging the CEO to do touchscreen and he just kept yelling ONE BIG KNOB

Management demands we use LLM coding tools and its part of our performance reviews. I use claude in a surgical, minimalist way to have something to point to. I installed a token->carbon footprint tracker and can 2x my daily carbon footprint easily. My AI addicted boss does 500x-1,000x that.

When I say "make the list" to pinpoint all of humanity's problems this is what I mean.
This is obscene. Why can't other politicians say that?

The 25 richest families are collectively $358.7 billion richer than a year ago, with a combined fortune totaling $2.9 trillion.

Mathew Stafford is a real one, and I want him to get a second ring and be a HOF lock....but in like one month Puka Nacua has made it impossible to cheer for the Rams. That mother fucker is so insanely stupid and is going to spread his stupidness like a disease with these evil streamers.

If you think American healthcare is bad right now, all I can tell you is that it is going to get so, so, so much worse as AI gets integrated into everything.
December 17, 2025 at 7:36 PM
If I typed out a transcript of some of the things I've heard executives say in meetings about AI in the past few months you literally would not believe me.

I'm sure there were more sane sounding cocaine fueled pitch meetings in Hollywood in the 80s.
