While ReBoot isn't lost media by any means, the extent to which this restoration project has been going is simply INCREDIBLE.
They got the D-1 master tapes. Then the hardware to read them. Then service manuals to repair/maintain. THEN, CRITICAL REPLACEMENT PARTS. And now they're ERROR CORRECTING.

GOD such a cool idea. I've kinda done this with my current group - let them get the HP & spells, but let them pick a moment to try out new abilities or get their companion animals, but this is bigger & with much more comfortable players vs my pack of mostly newbies. I'm excited to see this play out.
