This is a monumental birthday gift to me - I can finally use my character's narwhal horn on every job instead of needing to use mods!! Nevermind all the new options available with gathering and crafting gear sets. I'm so unbelievably happy with this change!!
The team is relaxing a long-held policy of certain types of gear glamour only being equip-able by certain roles. "Use any gear in your glamour, irrespective of class, job or level restriction." However, weapons/tools are exempt due to animations.
