Starbucks isn’t even good coffee. People make terrible decisions, and there really is no excuse when there are other shops next door.
watching as people cross an active Starbucks picket line (which is currently chanting “don’t cross our picket line”) even tho there are literally two other coffee shops directly across the street??? What do you think it feels like to be evil

I really appreciate @mehlerpaperny.bsky.social’s writing on this. Canada’s open borders (or what I thought was more open) was something always praised by people I met when traveling.

329: works in DTES. Fails to consider rising costs if non profits. We bring joy and revenue, save lives. I make budgets for funding, residents deserve that. Pushes it down the road. Doesn’t need needs of most vulnerable. We all make mistakes but u have opportunity to go back and fix this
