A few days ago I saw that “60 Minutes” was doing a story on CECOT, the notorious Salvadoran prison where the Trump regime sent people. I thought maybe CBS was slow-walking its tilt to Trumpism or might leave “60 Minutes” alone as evidence of independence. Looks like I was wrong on both counts.

I feel like I’m taking crazy pills. No newspaper on the planet would consider “attended the same dinner event 15 years ago” as a “conflict” requiring disclosure. I could not even recall the names of 99% of the people who were at all the conferences & dinners I’ve been to over that timespan.
David Brooks, who wrote in the NYT last month, "The Epstein Story? Count Me Out" is... in the latest Epstein photo dump published by @oversightdemocrats.house.gov.

I cannot emphasize how serious an assault on democracy this is. Any effort by the Trump administration to engage in false claims of fraud or mass voter suppression relies on this as a building block. As importantly, there is no legitimate reason DOJ would want this information.
