William Shakespeare wrote this speech 400 years ago about people in London wishing that immigrants go back to where they came from, performed by Sir Ian McKellen on the Stephen Colbert show:
Sir Ian McKellen performing a monologue from Shakespeare’s Sir Thomas More on the Stephen Colbert show. Never have I heard this monologue performed with such a keen sense of prescience. Nor have I ever been in this exact historical moment.TY Sir Ian, for reaching us once again.

Yes. Every American should. Because over 70 million have chosen to vote for Trump 3 times and the last two times cannot reasonably have a doubt about his bad character and malign intent.

And so should every U.K. citizen that is even thinking of voting for Farage - the 🇬🇧 Trump.
Every American needs to watch this:

Sorry, who the fuck are the people that still support that twat?

What is it about them that attracts them to the racist, misogynistic wanker farage?

(I love that I typed wanker and the phone offered up farage immediately. After a rocky start me and my Samsung are getting on better)

Spent a decade working for the Jobcentre. By the letter of the law could have referred many for a probable sanction. Unless blatant pisstakers, rarely did, as at worst, some of them would've ended up dead. Making it out of the house for a chat with me was often achievement enough

Are female economists treated differently than males in academic seminars?

These authors wanted to know whether gender shapes how scholars are treated when presenting research.

So they built a massive dataset of 2,000+ economics seminars, job talks, and conference presentations from 2019–2023...

I was not on any sanctions list - yet I was barred from Hong Kong. I’ve had no clarity on how “lifted sanctions” affect MPs like me.

A reset that ignores secret bans on British MPs isn’t a reset. We must be free to criticise China without fear.

China must lift any and all bans on its critics.

Berries like strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries provide fiber, vitamin C, manganese, and anthocyanins. Many also supply copper, vitamin K, folate, and polyphenols.

A good goal is 3 servings per week (1 cup fresh or ½ cup frozen per serving)

What berries are your favorites?

The government claims that AI is 'one-to-one learning support'. It's not. Unless you think that AI is human. Or that kids are robots.
How does AI help you do that?

What exactly are these ‘AI tutors’ that can provide ‘one-to-one’ teaching, and where the evidence they’re in anyway effective?
We want to make sure tutoring isn't the preserve of a lucky few, but accessible to every child who needs it.

AI can help us do that.

Safe, personalised, one-to-one learning support to help every child achieve and thrive.
