Women are not usually interested in science fiction, but that’s doubly true of Star Trek in particular. I hear you, random guy who once knew some lady who watched every Voyager episode. I see you on Instagram, attractive girl cosplaying in Starfleet miniskirts. Unfortunately, you very cool Trek-girls are the exception, not the rule.

Though I don't use X anymore really, I got a hint that I should check what Volodymyr Zelenskyy has posted yesterday.

I was at a punk show in 83 where a skinhead jumped up on stage and gave a Nazi salute.

The bass player hit him with his bass, knocking him into the crowd and 150 people collectively hauled his ass out of the venue and threw him in the mud.

This was the right and only appropriate response.

Gladiator II is a movie, I guess. I’m so tired of this “queer is evil” trope I can’t even be bothered to get mad. Someone have Ridley Scott the money to do this movie, another sequel that no one wanted, another copy of the original. What a time to be alive.

It's an unequivocal no to AI in their product.

(Their point being: they won't, if an author wants to they can.)

I do not know what this is or what it means or where it came from. I got this chunk of dialogue in my head with no other information. This seemed like the best way to get it out. There is no follow-up in my head at this time.
A comic panel where a weird little creature approaches a one eyed creature, apparently asleep, and says “Hey, Eye.” It’s black and white linework done to look like cut paper. Comic continues as the weird creature laments that there is a new person and things are changing. Eye opens its eye. The creature seems to be having a conversation but Eye has no word balloons. In the last panel, the creature wonders what the new person’s insides are made of. In the final page, the weird creature gives a list of things that make acceptable insides. These include junk mail, grape leaves, twine and old sheet music, but not baby clothes. It comments on something Eye may or may not have said, involving membranes. The creature sighs, says it should go introduce itself, thanks Eye and leaves. Eye goes back to sleep.
