The whole kerfuffle over the idea that Romance is easier to write than "hard genres" is baffling to me. The idea that happiness is easier than misery, depression, or pain has no basis in reality.
It's very easy to be miserable, friendless, and angry. That requires minimal effort + selfishness.

wow, so my mini book tour I was planning on doing is not quite as easy to set up as I thought. I've got two bookstores lined up, doing stuff at Eerie Horror Fest and WFC, and doing quite a few podcasts as well as a literary fest...
but getting more than 2 bookstores on board? A pain in the ass
