Revisiting this. The sheet music is perfectly even quarter notes at 160bpm. In other words, "god rest ye merry, gentlemen" is an old skool happy hardcore banger.
I think the issue is that people don't hear the pickup beat, they count the first note as a 1. With that counting, "gen..." lands on a weak beat. If you count it as written, that lands on the start of the bar implying the comma.

Placing two groups of people who are not affected by immigration policy on the same level as the people who are affected.
So that gives us two groups whose views we need to respect: those concerned about rising numbers; and those who either like immigrants or who employ them or need their services. But that's just British citizens. There is a third group who we also need to respect - immigrants themselves. 7/n
