It’s certainly more desperate.
He had to let Kilmer Abrego Garcia out of prison/jail. His tariffs are unpopular. He’s being blamed for not bringing down prices. Failure after failure.

It doesn’t mean things can’t get worse or that we’re guaranteed to win but the regime is so much weaker now than a year or even six months ago.
