A scripture came to mind today as I was thinking about T___p taking office tomorrow, and the 4 years after that:
“You shall not run with a crowd, to do evil.”
No matter how many Christians have already abandoned it & no matter how many more will, I aim to bind this precept as an anklet to my feet.

I will always love dogs. I don’t love them just because of how they look or what their breed standards are. Dogs teach us humans trust, respect, and fairness. Dogs show what true loyalty means. Dogs know and show what unconditional love is. Humanity would be nothing without the existence of dogs.

Yes, the Supreme Court has failed to protect us from Trump. But it’s worse than that: The Supreme Court is imposing its own fascism. It invented presidential immunity. It has gutted the Voting Rights Act, passed by a bipartisan Congress. It’s as bad as Trump, and moving in the same direction.

The worst part about the boat strikes - regardless of who ordered what and besides the ultimate tragedy of lives lost - is they’re forever a stain on the professionalism and dignity of the United States military.
