Happening now: at Kedzie and 40th, where Border Patrol agents just opened fire on rapid response this afternoon. A woman CFD says they found after the incident is reported in fair condition.

A growing number of outraged neighbors have gathered across from ICE/CBP agents who have closed Kedzie.

An older Korean man was taken by 3 ice agents in camouflage uniform and vest with police on it.
2 cars, a silver Toyota SUV and a white KIA with IL plates that possibly start with FE32

Every day is just countless alerts of ICE all over the city, with hotspots on the southwest side communities of Brighton Park and Back of the Yards. I do wonder long-term how our Latine immigrant communities can live like this. It's breaking our fabric. We need leaders at all levels to do more.

Like for me isn’t that the whole point? To be subversive and lack convention? My favorite kind of fashion to enjoy as a consumer is “bad” fashion because of how stimulating it is. I think it’s iconic and a compliment but idk I don’t wanna shame anyone for having feelings 🤷🏻‍♀️
