Several others have aptly summarized this. Republicans now get a number where they can call Elon and ask for the law to be followed for things that were cut but which they want back. So Elon is in charge of federal spending. And you can go to him hat in hand.
Like huh it’s almost as if this information is inconsistent with the government’s representations in court that Amy Gleason, not Musk, is in charge of DOGE, and that agency heads, not DOGE, are responsible for the cuts

1) MOST IMPORTANT: support anyone doing any/all of the above. We don’t all have the same resources, health, security and family needs. Encourage others to do more— but never, ever put people down if they are doing something. Stick together.

Thanks for the support as I try to inform.

Many of my posts include ways I recommend to #Resist. In the comments many of you have great ideas on how to do so effectively.

altFWS tips for resistance:

10) Engage local elected officials you know. Encourage them to speak up for your community. This has more power than you realize.

Shadow Surgeon General @vinguptamd.bsky.social giving you the advice you need
We spent nearly 8 minutes this morning trying to set the record straight on a number of health matters.

I’d expect the Surgeon General or NIH Director to do this, but since they’re not, here it is in 4 clips.

The Reduction in Force page went blank today, presumably to have a new plan added.

It is expected we will need to further reduce our workforce, with early rumors focusing on a 10-, 20-, or 40-percent reduction depending on program.

Take the time now to get basic knowledge.

Experts view mandates as merely a “construction”—an idea that has been used by monarchs, dictators, and (small d) democrats alike to justify their power since at least as far back as imperial China, when dynastic kings asserted a “mandate of Heaven”—a divine right to rule.
Donald Trump does not have a "mandate" for any of this
He's hardly the first president to claim he represents the people's will—or God's. But he might be the most brazen.
