Giving Tuesday idea: direct mutual aid to a disabled trans man in Utah
No updates on the screenshots. Rent is covered and so the only things I want to be able to do are pay down some debt and get quarters for laundry and get some more paratransit tickets in case I have to go to the doctor again. Anything helps.

Basically, make a point of trying to help other people. It's good for you. Also, universal basic income will mean more people being free to volunteer and afford to.

I have scripts memorized for how to deal with students disrupting various lectures. I have plans I have rehearsed and chains of who to contact memorized. So far I've been fortunate in my current position, but every semester it's the same panic again and again.
I think straight and cis people really have no idea what things are like out there for the rest of us. I’ve received minimum one paper Like That per year since I started teaching, if not one or more per semester, all of which contained varying degrees of blunt hate speech directed *at me* lmao
