What "legal expenses" could that man possibly have? (Wait! Is the White House charging him a fee to cover for him? Okay. That makes sense.)

The Minneapolis Star-Tribune offers an expert, frame-by-frame analysis of the events leading to the death of Renee Nicole Good and immediately thereafter. (1) There is no ambiguity or doubt about what happened. (2) The claims made by Trump, Vance and Noem are categorically false in every detail.
Breaking down the videos: A close examination of the shooting of Renee Good
In just seconds, an encounter with ICE agents turned deadly. The Star Tribune examined the video evidence frame by frame.

After the EPA found that ethylene oxide is 30 times more carcinogenic than previously thought, it updated regulations to protect the people who are most exposed to it.

Now, the agency’s ability to do that for many air pollutants is under threat.

Trump’s EPA Could Limit Its Own Ability to Use New Science to Strengthen Air Pollution Rules
In government records that have flown under the radar, the EPA is questioning its legal authority to revise pollution rules more than once when new science shows unacceptable health risks.

The WSJ's journalists unpack how ICE ignores police best practices and escalates to unhinged violence: "13 instances of agents firing at or into civilian vehicles since July, leaving at least eight people shot with two confirmed dead." DHS responded with the lies we've seen before.

Videos Show How ICE Vehicle Stops Can Escalate to Shootings
A WSJ visual investigation found that the Minneapolis ICE killing is one of 13 incidents where federal immigration agents have used deadly force against civilians in vehicles since July.

A woman recording an ICE agent tells him "Shame on you."

The agent responds, "Have you all not learned from the past couple of days?"

"Learned what?" she asks

Then he knocks her phone out of her hand

As someone who has reported on deepfakes for years now, I’ve had a few moments while reporting on Grok where I feel sick to my stomach thinking about the continued escalation of sexual abuse with this technology and where it’s going. We’re not ready for this. And it didn’t have to be this way.

Let’s get this out of the way: Immigration and Customs Enforcement is nothing like the Sturmabteilung, a.k.a. Hitler’s Brownshirts. Your main clue ...

really feels like Becca Good saying “go get some lunch, big boy” is when he snapped. the kind of man who joins ICE is absolutely the kind of man who thinks women should die for saying things like that. they absolutely crash out when we aren’t cowering in fear and making them feel scary & powerful
To paraphrase Margaret Atwood…”men are afraid that women will laugh at them, women are afraid that men will kill them”

I'd love to see a reporter ask rank-and-file ICE agents if they understand that the administration is clearly hoping one of them gets killed out there.

"Are you ready to give your life to become a meme pushed by incels on Twitter for a couple days?"
The White House surely wants to see one of these ICE crackdowns lead to violent pushback. They've got untrained unqualified goons acting with impunity. It seems deliberately designed to provoke an incident.

But do the goons get this? Do they know the big plan is to get a couple of them killed?
Susan Tincher, a 55-year-old American citizen, said agents told her in the truck that if she didn’t watch herself “they were going to pull me over to the side of the road and give me this OC,” law enforcement shorthand for pepper spray.

Arkansas Sen. Tom Cotton has introduced a new bill that would make it easier for developers of data centers and other "energy-intensive industries" to build their own electricity generation off-grid without going through federal regulations.
