I mean, the real reason there are no powerful leftist movements in USA is USA leftists don't do electoral politics and don't do backroom politics, they do weird revolutionary politics that only ever worked in a few countries at a very different historical moment and they do weird freudodrama
I think that my political views are probably a bit further left than my recent posts would indicate, but that I get polarized away from the left because of how people talk and because people don't understand that elected Dems need to compromise
