Bad-faith accusations of fraud were also used to undermine Reconstruction efforts. Du Bois disputes the notion at great length but notes its uncritical acceptance by white historians. Today, Musk/Trump frame their attacks on USAID, social security, etc. in similar terms.

‼️ The National Park Service has REMOVED mentions of transgender people being involved with Stonewall. Not only did the remove the world "Transgender" but changed "LGBTQ+" to "LGBQ+".

The federal government is attempting to erase us and take away our history.

2. This was a major tactic used by ACT UP organizers in the past, and has proven to be highly effective. By pulling the heartstrings of everyday employees who are responsible for trans lives, we can force the institutions to change from the streets.

Just FYI, administrative warrants (like the ones used by ICE) are not judicial warrants (used by cops, signed by a judge).

You do NOT legally have to open the door for an ICE officer with an administrative warrant *no matter what the ICE officer says.*

We especially welcome projects related to the history of slavery, emancipation, and their legacies and the history of struggles for freedom and democracy in the United States. This is a limited-term (one-year) fellowship for advanced graduate students who are in the writing stage of their dissertation. During their residency, the fellows will primarily perform their research; they will have no teaching or administrative responsibilities. The fellows will be expected to make progress on their dissertation and to take an active part in the Richards Center and Penn State’s community of researchers. The fellowship includes a $40,000 stipend and $3,000 in research funds. The Richards Center will coordinate payment of the stipend through the recipient’s graduate institution.
