When the wealthy do not need the services of the government, they are more than happy to shut down, downsize, and render ineffective the services that they do not require. This furthers their belief in their self sufficiency and seeks to wrest citizens into thankful serfs, prostrating for crumbs.

Many of my connections on my fest run are me sending screeners to folx who missed my block. Fests are busy. But now I have an email/DM exchange which is more of a relationship than I had from them sitting in audiences.

Connections that last for years.

But if I like a film, I will share your link when it goes live -- now you not only have my view, but my audience as well.

I can be a fan supporting your run.

I have no vested interested in following something I haven't seen.

Word of mouth is king. Interest is valuable. Don't squash it. Ride the wave. Don't expect them to be interested in 9 months when your run is done. Build momentum and fans.

I was so fortunate to find a suit and tie for $3.50 and $0.50 respectively. Got new suit pants for $9.

I have been hoping for years that someone would organize a "laugh at them" protest where you just infiltrate the room with people who disrupt things by laughing at everything they say. Holding a "shame on you" sign and shouting "you're worse than Hitler" only flatters them

We don't talk enough about how mockery and humiliation are tools of resistance. Toss out your obligations to social decorum. Belittle them. They're stupid, ugly, they have ED, no one respects them, whatever.

Undercut their claims to authority as often as you can. Make them out to be clowns.
