It's telling that the ICE agents know that their actions are illegal, unethical, and immoral.
States and Congress need to pass laws to require law enforcement to be wearing uniforms and not hide their faces.

If Trump is serious about tariffs on movies, it's a very dangerous escalation. Tariffs have not traditionally been applied to services, and the United States is a massive net exporter of services. We would be extremely vulnerable to any service-based retaliation.
Trump says movies produced outside the U.S. are a national security threat. So he’s imposing a 100% tariff on all movies that are “produced in foreign lands.”

it is so important to remember that IN THE MOMENT there was no one who thought jan. 6 was some innocent protest gone awry. everyone recognized it for what it was.
At the time, everyone, including Republicans, understood how bad it was. Then, brick by brick, they built a foundation of lies to justify doing what they know, deep down, to be wrong. Trump betrayed the country. And so do they.

I remain skeptical that these claimed tariffs will ever take effect. But note that Mexico is the biggest US trading partner and Canada is now essentially tied for second with China.
