Honestly, one of the worst thing that ever happened to the public’s understanding of economics was this idea that it bears any resemblance to domestic budgeting.
I'm asking John - and indeed all journalists - as a new year resolution to stop comparisons with a national economy and a household budget.

Du kan simpelthen ikke give folket en større "lad dem spise kage-fuckfinger" end at fjerne afgift på kaffe og chokolade i en periode hvor priserne på de mest basale fødevarer er stukket helt af og mange dårligt kan få tingene til at løbe rundt
