I need people to wrap their minds around the fact that here in Minneapolis, ICE broke the window of a vehicle yesterday, pepper sprayed the occupants, and arrested them, and shot another observer in the face today, and OBSERVERS ARE STILL GOING OUT TO PROTECT THEIR NEIGHBORS AT MASSIVE PERSONAL RISK

The NYT is becoming even more unhinged. I’m glad I cancelled my subscription ages ago, and would advise anyone who is not a complete bigot to do the same.
They won't even use the term transgender regarding their coverage in this statement, they use the term gender identity.
I think the Times might be making a shift towards an editorial stance that pathologizes trans people.
