Stop calling it deporting, so MAYBE more Americans will get it. "Deporting" is sending someone back, after due process, to the country they came from, where they arrive a free person. This is human trafficking to a foreign torture prison for the rest of their lives. GET THE LANGUAGE RIGHT.

"But the prison population truly exploded during President Ronald Reagan’s administration. When Reagan took office in 1980, the total prison population was 329,000, and when he left office eight years later, the prison population had essentially doubled, to 627,000."

fun historical fact: among the core political forces in the development of mass incarceration was the "Victims' Rights Movement". Its first major legislative national legislative victory was under President Reagan. The prison population doubled under his administration.

THIS is the point beyond basic humanity. Due process must always be the precedent—or we all can be targeted regardless of facts even just for having an opinion. The bill of rights dies without sacrosanct due process .

The damn Supreme Court knows this —and they’re being defied too. 🚨🚨🚨
Anyone debating or analyzing Kilmar Abrego Garcia's life or record is doing a grave disservice.

He could be El Chapo. He could be Charles Manson. He could be the Dalai Lama.

It doesn't matter. What has happened to him and others is clearly a violation of America's core laws and principles.

People are upset there are Teslas at the White House.

People should be this upset that the Trump administration is taking a stance against the First Amendment, that 68,000 Americans die each year due to lack of healthcare, that 60% of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck.

Like, for example, when someone is talking about “leftist purity tests” are you talking about leftists terrible habit of holding each other to ridiculously high moral standards while offering no opportunity for grace, or do you just mean “leftists keep asking for civil rights and it’s annoying”?
