We've avoided family member transmission of covid (twice) flu A, parainfluenza, and multiple other respiratory viruses because we implemented masking in shared areas when sick, and room iso when named illness positive. We only have one bathroom, so that gets shared.
Should you wear a mask if you've got symptomatic flu? YES. If you wear it at home *from the onset of your symptoms*, your family members are much less likely to catch flu from you (but you must avoid unmasked co-sleeping and eating around same table - have your meals alone). 1/

The electorate voted for a senate that has a majority of ALP and Greens.
Murray Watt and the ALP are choosing instead to write laws that will please the LNP and mining companies.

I’m getting weary of this. This government is representative of what the people of this place want. The argument is with all of us. Turning it into a constant personalised political snipe belittles the nature of the problem.

If you're a reporter, please stop referring to RFK Jr and his cronies as "vaccine skeptics." They're not skeptical. Skepticism would be fine. Skeptics look at evidence and can be persuaded.
