Yesterday I posted about my new web tracker of how often the parliament has gone into Urgency this term. #nzpol seemed to appreciate it and this evening I added a way to see the percentage of bills passed under urgency by each parliament.

The number of British programs where they mention they lost someone due to Covid. I think New Zealanders totally underestimate how lucky (and well managed) we were. The still loud antivax voice/Covid deniers doesn't help. Much harder to deny Covid exists when everyone knows someone who lost someone.

Also educated people are 2x as likely to vote Labour than National and a massive 7x more likely to vote Greens than National

And if it's not that, it's the number of public holidays, and if not that then matariki, and if not that it's provincial hols disrupting business, and on it goes. Now it’s like a press release stating the barest of facts and no pushback on the people/industries responsible. As a new normal this is actually toxic 😞 (much like the river).
