Yesterday I posted about my new web tracker of how often the parliament has gone into Urgency this term. #nzpol seemed to appreciate it and this evening I added a way to see the percentage of bills passed under urgency by each parliament.
The results are interesting!

Mr. Cuban, I'm a professor at Yale School of Public Health. Here's a paper published by one of my colleagues in the top medical journal evaluating the Medicare for All Act, which would not only get us there, but would save $450B per year. Happy to discuss! www.thelancet.com/journals/lan...

The number of British programs where they mention they lost someone due to Covid. I think New Zealanders totally underestimate how lucky (and well managed) we were. The still loud antivax voice/Covid deniers doesn't help. Much harder to deny Covid exists when everyone knows someone who lost someone.

... the problem with the 'centrists' is that they're always bending over backwards to prove their 'bi-partisanshipness' and 'balanced' and 'both sides' and 'even-handed' credibility

... that they forget that embracing bad people☹️ (and bad policy🤔😠) is just plain bad😡

... full stop.

🚨 Please share with your friends and whānau who have a real Christmas tree - especially here in AoNZ where it’s (allegedly) summer.
Water your tree regularly🌲
And check your smoke alarms!
You might be thinking, "CPSC, does a dry Christmas tree really burn that much faster than a well-watered tree?"

Friend, let's find out together by watching this PSA.

Yup, only 15% of ACT voters have a Bachelor's degree or higher compared to the Greens which is at a massive 55% of Greens voters with a Bachelor's degree or higher.

Also educated people are 2x as likely to vote Labour than National and a massive 7x more likely to vote Greens than National

I remember back in the day when an article like this would make big headlines and would also include why the river is toxic. Now it’s like a press release stating the barest of facts and no pushback on the people/industries responsible. As a new normal this is actually toxic 😞 (much like the river).
