I’m honestly surprised he did this.

Only because he’s generally able to muddy the waters a bit, but this absolutely, positively erases even the scintilla of doubt that Donald Trump was and remains a racist POS.
“Mr. Trump has halted virtually all refugee admissions for people fleeing famine and war from places like Sudan and the Democratic Republic of Congo. But he has created an expedited path into the country for Afrikaners, a white ethnic minority that created and led the brutal apartheid regime.”

We’ve become so desensitized to corruption that the Attorney General who spent years lobbying on behalf of Qatar approved a private jet gift from Qatar and it’s not even in the top 10 scandals of the week.

Imagine the biggest problem in your life being about which bathroom a total stranger uses.

Imagine pretending random people you'll never meet are somehow victimizing you with their existence.

Imagine being that hard up for troubles that you have to invent them just so you can play the victim.

If only the people who voted for Trump experienced this pain, I’d be totally fine with that. Unfortunately, they’re forcing ALL of us to suffer — and working and middle class Americans will be hurt the most.

Good morning and Happy Saturday to everyone who agrees that, after all the bullshit trump and his acolytes put Hillary Clinton through, his stubborn refusal to fire Pete Hegseth is PEAK hypocrisy, and a dangerous security breach for America.

Lil Marco is learning that diplomacy is difficult, despite the fact that his boss promised to end this war in 24 hours with one phone call & said it “wouldn’t even be that hard to do.” What he won’t say is this isn’t getting done because Putin WANTS war.

NEW: The National Intelligence Council determined in a secret assessment early this month that Venezuela is not directing an invasion of the United States by the prison gang Tren de Aragua, a judgment that contradicts Trump’s public statements

U.S. intelligence contradicts Trump’s justification for mass deportations
The determination is the most comprehensive assessment to date undercutting the president’s rationale for deporting suspected Tren de Aragua members without due process.

So… this was supposed to be about Paul Revere’s ride, but the Senator just unloaded about the Trump administration and its Republican enablers. Far more newsworthy than I expected. (You can probably see me shifting to “crap, this was not the interview I prepped!” but the result was memorable.)

The good news is that the constitution provides ways for Congress and the Judiciary to reign in a power-hungry president. The bad news is those people are all scared of him.

Trump’s reckless tariffs are tanking confidence in the global economy. Fund managers are dumping U.S. stocks, bracing for a hard landing, and turning to gold. This isn’t strategy—it’s sabotage. America can’t afford a Trump trade disaster.

The Constitutional crisis all Americans fear is here. A battle between the executive and judicial branches is underway.

The Trump regime defiantly refused to meet another court-issued deadline in the case of Kilmar Abrego García.

Dismissed was a federal judge’s deadline to disclose steps…

IF Garcia is even still alive, Trump knows he can't allow him back into the country because he will immediately become ALL THE NEWS. His only move as far as he's concerned is letting Garcia rot and die, which he almost certainly will fight to do to the bitter end.

This is a turning point moment.
Don't overlook this: Trump is leaving Abrego Garcia to rot in a foreign gulag even though the admin can always bring him back and *retry him for deportation in a lawful way.* That they won't do this shows their case against him is nonsense.

New piece from me:

Trump’s Horrifying Removal of Man in “Error” Takes an Even Darker Turn
The Trump administration could allow Kilmar Abrego Garcia back into the U.S. and try to deport him through proper channels. So why won’t it even do that?

So as near as I can tell, the biggest stock market crashes have come in 2025 (Trump), 2020 (Trump), 2008 (Bush 2.0), 1987 (Reagan) and 1929 (Hoover).

I will give an e-wooden nickel to anyone who can tell me what they all have in common.
