He/him. Husband and father writing Flow Trailhead content for Salesforce. The original Flownatic. I play games and write sci-fi stories. Bigotry and greed are the enemies of civilization. AI art is theft. My opinions are my own.
It's that time of the year again... when everyone comes together from around the world to explore Salesforce...
By completing a brand new Trailhead badge!

So if you wonder how soon America will suffer the fate of South Korea, consider this order of events:

1. Pat Cipollone and Pat Philbin stop Trump from executing the Waldron Plot—a coup plot involving martial law.
2. Kash Patel puts the Pats on his hitlist.
3. Trump nominates Patel for FBI Director.

THIS is what you have to keep in mind when you're writing documentation and training. You mustn't just avoid assuming they know what you know. You MUST assume by default that they know 10% of your topic, at best. Otherwise you'll lose over half of your readers and your doc is functionally useless.
Lots of folks saying “I’m in tech and I don’t get it either” and what I’m saying is…it’s even more mysterious than that for a lot of us. I don’t understand most of the words you use. You gotta understand how even the smallest piece of your knowledge is alien.

Well for November I didn't come anywhere near 50k for my personal story writing. But I did get 11k done, which is massive for me. And I'm probably about 10% through of this story. Lots to go!

Living in the UK now and with my extended family back in the States, I don't feel much need to "celebrate" a true Thanksgiving, nor to Give Thanks for whatever the Pilgrims tried to do. But we still do a mean roast dinner. No yorkshire puds this time because we did mini apple pies instead.

So a long long time, when I was very young, I got married to a guy after the second time I failed out of college, and we got along fine and didn’t have too many problems when he saw me as a dropout who was supporting him by working full time while he finished a college degree.
One of the things that was common listening to (almost entirely women) give acceptance speeches for winning awards for writing romance novels was how many of them praised their husbands for doing basic household chores.
Once you realize that a lot of men only value their wives in terms of what they do for them or for their children/families, you can't unsee how almost all of the praise from men to their wives has nothing to do with them personally and everything to do with the quality of service.

All AI art, including art forms like writing, is fundamentally anti-humanist. It steals human thoughts and feelings, to poorly create things that are intended to emulate and replace human thoughts and feelings.

A number of well-known artists are reporting that there are accounts impersonating them on Bluesky. Probably trying to gin up mistrust in the platform or some such bollocks.

Be on the lookout! Don't trust any requests that could be scams, even if they look like they're from your favorite creators!
For example, here's an account impersonating me: bsky.app/profile/mart... They must have grabbed my name not long after I verified my account which changed it to my domain name. Please report and block it.
