1/7 🇨🇦 🇺🇸 ICE DETENTIONS OF CANADIANS SURGE 🇺🇸 🇨🇦

A sweeping crackdown is ensnaring Canadians without criminal records—including at least six children.

The data reveals a disturbing shift in who is being targeted at the border.

The UCP government have been in power for SIX years.

Now, ask yourself:

⬇️ Is your healthcare better?
⬇️ Is your cost of living lower?
⬇️ Is your rent or mortgage more affordable?
⬇️ Is our education system stronger?

What, honestly, is better now than it was six years ago?

This is among the most democratically dangerous things Danielle Smith has said.

She wants to remove all checks and balances on her power and projects herself as the embodiment of "the people."

We have left the realm of liberal democracy in this province.
Smith doubled down on her anti court rhetoric today...

She even seemed to suggest that federally appointed judges couldn't render impartial rulings and that she believed her interpretation should always be above theirs.

That’s it? I thought it was a lot more. Guess Mickey Amery needs to step up his game. Can’t have Albertans thinking they can challenge us for any little government intervention.

I tallied the number of court cases or legal challenges Alberta’s government has recently stepped in to block or pre-empt. Was surprised how long the exercise took - they’re at like a one-per-week clip:

Nothing indicates future corruption like passing a law to give yourself immunity from your actions under the guise of "official duties"

Another change proposed in the bill is to give Alberta’s justice minister immunity from sanctions from the Law Society of Alberta, which regulates lawyers, for any actions they perform as part of their “official duties” — a term not defined in the legislature.

So Alberta's latest proposed law would:

👉 Take power over citizen-led referendums from the chief electoral officer & give it to cabinet.

👉 Ban new political parties from using certain words in their names, including: 'conservative,' 'democratic,' 'liberal,' 'Republican,' and 'wild rose.'

National public health “leadership” (hi RFK Jr 🙄) keeps poisoning public health with lies.

Vaccines prevent needless childhood deaths.

No baby in America should be dying of whooping cough — not when we have safe, effective vaccines literally ready to go.

This is a national tragedy

Where’s the proof
It is being abused? uCP loves adding more bureaucracy to everything. This change will create hardships for many Albertans but UCP does not care.
Just more nonsense Albertans! What about Albertans who don't have drivers' licenses, or easy access to Registry offices to renew something that NEVER had to be renewed before. How will Sam Mraiche or some other crony benefit from this? Another #UCPFail #UnitedCorruptParty #abpoli #ableg #cdnpoli

Politics has no place in the healthcare decisions of patients and doctors. This is another UCP attack on healthcare providers and women.
UCP calls for a referendum on “late term abortion”

Abortion is health care. It belongs between a patient & their doctor, not on a ballot & not in the UCP’s talking points.
