With many people getting COVID from the summer surge, a reminder that the CDC's isolation guidelines are inadequate.
It's best to isolate until you test negative on multiple tests. If you can't stay home the whole time, wear an N95 mask to stop the virus spreading to others.

This is what blows me away every time. There's no one who NEEDS predictive text machines. It's not curing cancer or feeding people or producing clean energy. It's just sucking up resources, convincing CEOs to fire humans who do better jobs than it can do, and allowing founders to siphon VC money

It’s a very depressing and scary time for creative jobs and communication jobs. 😔 I wish I had something positive to say, but so many people I know can’t find work in their field or laid off repeatedly. Capitalism kills creativity and information.
Heartbroken for games. Heartbroken for animation. Heartbroken for publishing, ESPECIALLY for journalism. Our media landscape is looking more bleak by the minute.
