It’s not too often a federal judge pops up in this type of thing
NEW: DOJ identified top US officials involved in the decision not to turn around planes of deported migrants in March per a judge’s order, including Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, and Judge Emil Bove (a DOJ official at the time)

Warships sit in the southern Caribbean, bristling with weaponry, one country in their sights.

Above them, every Wednesday and Friday, US planes still carry migrants deported to the targeted country.

Among them, US-bound tankers still sail by, laden with licensed oil from the targeted country.
An ICE deportation flight (EAL8280) is en route to Venezuela today, marking the 72nd flight to Venezuela since February of this year. U.S. deportation flights continue to land in Caracas despite escalating tensions.

This is a really, really important ruling that could keep many, many thousands of people from unnecessary detention.
New: A federal judge in California ruled that Trump's administration cannot impose mandatory detention on thousands of migrants held by U.S. immigration authorities nationally without first giving them an opportunity to seek release on bond. www.reuters.com/legal/govern...

NEW:

The DOJ tells Judge James Boasberg that Kristi Noem made the decision that flights that had departed should continue on to El Salvador, in contravention of the court’s orders.
BREAKING:

“After receiving that legal advice, Secretary Noem directed that the AEA detainees who had been removed from the United States before the Court’s order could be transferred to the custody of El Salvador. “

BREAKING: This is huge news, the EU's equivalent of the 🇺🇸Supreme Court's 2015 Obergefell v. Hodges ruling.

🇪🇺Court of Justice just ruled all 🇪🇺countries must recognise same-sex marriages granted in other member states.

This effectively legalises gay marriage across 🇪🇺

Again, every elected Democrat needs to put out a video stating exactly what Kelly and the others said. If ever there were a line to draw in the sand, it’s here. The military is not the president’s Praetorian Guard.
“Within the White House, Trump and his lieutenants aren’t planning on letting up…Trump has told some advisers that he wants RICO prosecutions and conspiracy charges leveled against the six Democrats, a source with direct knowledge of the matter tells Zeteo…

As awful as Maduro is, it won't do the Venezuelan people any good if the president starts an unpopular and ineffective war on their behalf. It'll just cause chaos and a hemisphere-wide refugee crisis.
US operations against Venezuela to begin within days.

Covert ops the first move.

Please hear me when I say that

1) these anti-medical woo birth movements have been a primary feeder into anti-vaxx eugenic movements

2) they pre-date the age of social media

3) they exist because we have not addressed medical sexism and specifically obstetric violence

"ICE agents then surrounded the judge’s car and demanded everyone to exit the vehicle, threatening to smash in the windows if they did not comply."

Here's the law, if anyone wants to read it. It's pretty short, and provides a list of what has to be released and when (heads up that agencies routinely blow past statutory deadlines), lists exceptions (e.g., no publishing of CSAM) and requires reporting to Congress. www.congress.gov/bill/119th-c...
