I finished this book last week, and it’s terrific. It hits all those great European history things — Anatolia, steppe nomads, Mycenaeans, Etruscans, etc. — while also bringing in some Central Asia and India history and a great linguistic mystery story as well. Highly recommended.

I finished this book last week, and it’s terrific. It hits all those great European history things — Anatolia, steppe nomads, Mycenaeans, Etruscans, etc. — while also bringing in some Central Asia and India history and a great linguistic mystery story as well. Highly recommended.
