something i've been thinking about a lot for years (and @fasterandworse.com captures really well youtu.be/Io-bCG32ehU) is the conflation of technologies with products

i articulate it like this: a technology is an encapsulation of a capability, whereas a product is an encapsulation of a relationship

From opening grocery stores to launching online delivery services, I traveled to rural Mississippi to highlight the work of two Black women who are reimagining how their communities eat and thrive.

This is part of the RNN's "Sowing Resilience" series.

This piece argues we’re in not one, but three AI bubbles:

1. a financial bubble with inflated valuations,

2. an infrastructure bubble with overbuilt data centers,

3. a hype bubble where AI can’t meet its promises.

Honestly, all three seem highly likely to me.
There isn’t an AI bubble—there are three
Here's how to capitalize on them.

i don’t subscribe to nytimes, so i can’t read this, but surely it’s not accurate to say “the whole world has soured on climate politics” when china hit peak oil almost a decade ago and has been investing tens of billions per year domestically and internationally in low carbon energy infrastructure
