I really wish ministers showed the same sense of urgency to prevent a genocide (they did the opposite) as they're now doing to allow some racist football hooligans in to the country

Say his name: Yahya Barzaq, one of the 275+ journalists killed in Gaza. He was known as one of the most prominent photojournalists still alive in Gaza. Prior to the genocide, he was known for gently photographing newborn babies.

The UK is due to press ahead Sunday with recognition of a Palestinian state before making a formal declaration at the United Nations on Monday, according to three people briefed on the plans.

The president is intentionally killing non-combatants who pose no direct threat in violation of domestic, international and military law and his VP and chief policy adviser are promising an authoritarian crackdown on his political opponents. Just today.

Democracy and the rule of law are on the line

If Keir Starmer wasn't PM, he'd have been on stage with Yaxley-Lennon in London yesterday. His beliefs about immigration are broadly similar.

The groypers' hate of Charlie Kirk is so well known there are like 4 paragraphs about it (under the cringiest fucking headline possible, "Groyper Wars") on Wikipedia.

This guy hated Charlie Kirk cause he wasn't racist and homophobic enough. There is zero doubt of this in my mind.

It really is so striking how much The Discourse operates untethered from…what we actually know. The killer is still at large! We have no idea who did it! Seems pretty important to get that sorted.

There’s no point in telling Israel it is trashing its good name. No one in Netanyahu’s government cares, writes @arusbridger.bsky.social. It’s time for sanctions—even moderates are calling for them.
It’s time to start treating Israel like apartheid-era South Africa
Its government has shown that international condemnation of the horrors in Gaza carries no weight. It is time for action.

Israel's treatment of Palestinian prisoners since 7 Oct is comparable to the worst dictatorships on earth.

- the number keeps growing, and is now around 11k
- close to 90% are held without trial
- starvation as policy
- rampant torture
- dozens died in prison, no accountability

Sky News finds no evidence any combatants were killed in double-tap strike on Nasser hospital that killed 22, inc. journalists and aid workers.

But even if there was such evidence that would not justify such a heinous attack, just as Israeli hospitals are still off limits even if the IDF are there.
We've been investigating the Nasser Hospital attack on Monday, which killed 22 people – including 5 journalists. Here’s what we found ⬇️

Taking eye watering amounts of cash from the Israel lobby identifies you in popular culture as a soulless, unprincipled politician wildly out of step with your voters.

AIPAC support is becoming a liability for Dem politicians.
Breakfast Club host Charlamagne says of Hakeem Jeffries: "I call him AIPAC Shakur."

"I just don't think he stands for anything."

"The IDF never intentionally targets civilians"

Like 5-year-old Hind Rajab who was shot at 100s of times

Like the aid workers who were buries in mass graves.

Like the babies left to rot in neonatal care.

Like the first-responders who were double-tapped.

Reform UK, which has a grand total of four MPs, was just given an uninterrupted platform for an hour and a half on the BBC and Sky News channels, in order to talk about its plans for mass deportations

When was the last time the Greens (with four MPs) or the Lib Dems (with 72) were given the same?

Yes, he wants to demolish Gaza City. That’s the plan.
Just like he did to Rafah, Beit Hanoun, Jabalia, and Beit Lahia and other towns in Khan Younis.
The world is watching. The world is condemning. The world is sending more weapons.
