SNAP is a lifeline for workers in low-wage jobs.

Meanwhile, CEOs are paid 280x as much as the typical worker.

Don’t be angry at workers for using food stamps.

Be angry at the corporations paying them so little that they need them.

As we mourn Rob Reiner, don’t skip this: he was, pretty much, personally responsible for overturning California’s Prop 8 banning same sex marriage.

Kiddo woke up and wanted to play outside (despite it being low 30s). I bundle us up, get outside, and wait for him to realize it’s too cold out.

Fast forward 90 minutes, and I’m out here watching literal videos of ice melting.

When history looks back on today evangelical Christians will say that the Trump supporters weren’t real Christians. They’ll distance themselves. They’ll make apologies for what their denominations did. All the while continuing to cause harm in a different way.

I asked the pediatrician about this vaccine. I get why it's important from a public health standpoint, e.g. not every mom is hep b tested. But I know I don't have heb b, so why is it important for my baby? The answer: babies can get hep b later! It's not just needles/sex, they can get it at daycare
To be very clear, Kennedy's team is messing with a vaccine which has led to a 99 percent drop in the incidence of hepatitis B, which kills, early and painfully, 25 percent of the people who get it as children. lnk.thebulwark.com/3Xt957M

this book comes out on Tuesday and I'm proud of it -- I think it's a good read. admittedly, it has fewer pornographic film titles in it than "Devil House" did, but that's a high bar to clear. buy a copy at your local or get it here: thisyearbook.com

made a similar point on the opinions podcast this week in response to the idea that epstein is a dead end. not only are actual voters interested in this but it divides the gop and puts pressure on the president. it would be political malpractice to treat it as a sideshow
The usual suspects are telling Dems that Epstein won’t win elections, get back to “affordability” and I think my head might explode. www.offmessage.net/p/force-a-re...
