Today was a decent day, got a lot done on my house so I can put it up on the market. Can't wait to leave Texas!

I know everyone’s saying we need all the journalists to leave Twitter and come here, but what we really need is all the local government accounts and their small departments to get on here because that’s what I miss the most about Twitter. It was how I stayed connected with all sorts of happenings.

Wild how nice bluesky is compared to X. It really is a breath for fresh air.

The huge increase in activity on bluesky in the last week feels like the first time we could potentially have a viable alternative to twitter. Keep it up! We can do this people!

Make it make sense.

The slow trickle of MAGA folks over here underscores how much their experience of online is entirely dependent on people getting mad at them. It also underscores how even they, given the option, would rather not hang out with themselves either.

Living in a MAGA red town and county in #texas is not fun. I can not wait to move.
