At Jack Posobiec's request, Trump is agreeing to designate "antifa" as a foreign terrorist organization.

Unlike the "domestic terrorist organization" EO issued last month, the FTO designation has real teeth, allowing the government to prosecute for material support. www.youtube.com/live/G7hQH3o...

(fwiw, I don't particularly support 'banning social media' for anyone, but if you can make a case for limiting harms to kids, and in turn harms to society that exposure to online platforms causes in young people, you can absolutely make the same case for boomers)

I feel like if you had to ban social media for any group of people for their own protection, you should probably start with people over 60.

The UAE is an authoritarian autocracy, a petro-state with no income tax for citizens, to bribe them for the lack of democratic voice or free speech

It is 85% migrant, a segregated society with a ban on integration in principle and practice, few rights, equal opportunities, nor voice for incomers

Excellent letter from the Bishop of Birmingham to Robert Jenrick.

At a time when so many other voices have been silent, the bishops have been admirably outspoken against attempts to stir up division.

The churches do a lot of community cohesion work & do not want to see this trashed for party gain.
