BRO JUST WIPE IT ALL OUT. No elaborate paperwork or tier systems, no applying, no waiting. Make the October Surprise a good one for a change.

Cancel the loans and shred the records. It’s an official act and the Supreme Court said you’re the king!

One of President Carter’s many humanitarian efforts was the eradication of guinea worm, a parasite that causes incredibly painful and debilitating disease in some of the poorest parts of the world.

And he’s almost done it.

In 2023, there were 14 cases. When he started, there were millions a year.

OK...the NWS Bot collection is now fully populated and ready to go. I'm sure bugs will come up along the way, but I think it is 95%+ stable.

There's an index page at nws-bot.us including a map (borrowed from NWS) to find the right bot for the area you want to follow.

New shitty Vance video, in which he seems to say that gender and racial equality makes people miserable (or maybe just fighting for it? He's not a man of clarity) but also now he's sneering at me for living in a small NYC apartment. A childless single woman in a tiny one bedroom! I must be garbage.

This is what trans folks mean when we say "let us tell our stories". Will Ferrell used his clout and brand to get this made which obviously is being focused on him but the actual doc is very much Harper's story and most often in her own words. If folks won't give us a seat, pull out a chair.

i think most of this is dead on arrival, of course, but i also think this is a great maximalist start to thinking of court reform AND some of this stuff, especially the large expansion of the circuit and district courts, is absolutely feasible in the next four years.
Sweeping bill to overhaul Supreme Court would add six justices
The legislation by Sen. Ron Wyden (D-Ore.) is one of the most ambitious efforts to date to remake the Supreme Court following controversies over rulings and ethics.

This is good—I was hoping the Harris-Walz campaign would come up with some more concrete economic proposals to appeal to voters (difficult, I know, when Congress is useless)
Exclusive: Harris to release new economic proposals this week on US wealth creation, sources say
U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris plans to roll out a new set of economic policies this week that aim to help Americans build wealth and set economic incentives for businesses to aid that goal, three sources with knowledge of the matter said.

He says he talked to Trump, & he signed a document to the governor pledging he'd vote for it.

Also, he says most key holdout said he's a no -- that's as of Wednesday:
Trump ramps up push for Nebraska to change electoral vote allocation
Nebraska is one of two states that awards some of its electoral votes by congressional district. A vote from the Omaha area is part of Harris’s easiest path to victory.
