A little about me: I’ve always made things, and after transferring to art school to make it official, then some years as a metalsmith, I pivoted to commercial food photography and styling. It’s where an opportunity to sustain myself seemed to exist.

Oh man, the New York Young Republicans implicated in the Nazi groupchat scandal ran up a $23,000 tab eating filet mignon and drinking at a hotel in Syracuse -- a city with one of the highest child poverty rates *in the nation* -- and then refused to pay the bill.

The Tea Party protests in April 2009 had about a third of a million people involved, and the political media treated it like a game changer for the Obama presidency.

The No Kings rallies were AT LEAST ten times bigger than the Tea Party protests. Will the press keep pretending Trump is popular?
Based on crowd-sourced records of No Kings Day event turnout, and extrapolating for the cities where we don't have data yet, it looks like roughly 4-6 million people protested Trump across the U.S. yesterday. That's nearly 2% of the U.S. pop!

Mobilized anti-Trump resistance is exceeding 2017 levels
"No Kings Day" protests turn out millions
Our unofficial estimate is that around 4 million people attended a protest event yesterday. Anti-Trump resistance is outpacing 2017.

What’s wild about the current political use of “antisemitism” (as opposed to its actual instances) is it has nothing to do with Jewish people at all. So much so that an Italian sexual harasser can wield it against a Muslim who is endorsed by a Jewish candidate. It’s just all nonsense.

Keep spreading the word:

Don't rank Cuomo.
Hearing from sources that a new NYC mayoral race poll is about to drop showing Zohran Mamdani clinching the No. 1 spot from Andrew Cuomo for the first time.

@mayor.lacity.gov needs to rein in her police force.

Those horses are being mistreated and the cops are using unnecessary and excessive force on peaceful protesters.

I saw another video of cops trying to use their horses to trample protesters.

Start disciplining this behavior.

Mamdani surges in new poll, leading Cuomo for first time in New York mayor's race
The former governor has topped every voter survey since entering the race, but the democratic socialist is gaining on him.

Please PLEASE NYC friends, vote for @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social for mayor. We all deserve a smart, forward-thinking, authentic mayor for a change. Let’s manifest this reality. Spread the word!!
the number one goal for everyone left-of-center for the next 6 weeks should be making sure Andrew Cuomo doesn’t become mayor of the largest city in the country.

even if you don’t live in NYC, you probably have friends or family who do. please tell them how awful Cuomo.
Andrew Cuomo, who leads in the mayoral polls, has a Trumpian belief in his own spurious talents and triumphs. His election would likewise be a disaster for everyone subject to his rule.
