One of my favorite kinds of jobs has always been portrait pieces. Client sends a photo that I convert to a black and white stencil, apply to vinyl and then hand cut with a hobby knife before sandblasting.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but there's actually no need to tolerate swastikas in our military ever. We don't need policy papers on this. We don't need long discussions and to "better understand" those who wear them. We can just ban all Nazi imagery and call it a day.

I feel like I say this every year but I really need people to hear it. Halloween is the best American holiday. Just kids outside welcomed into their world, marching around together, showing off their costumes to the elderly, parents meeting parents, neighbors catching up with neighbors.
