I honestly think 2024 is one of the worst years in gaming ever tbh.
I'm sorry but if we flash forward 5 years none of the games that released will be talked about at all, there were some fine games but none of them have any real staying power.

The rise and fall of #mihoyo gacha games needs to be studied. People like colorful unique characters to collect and use, but as soon as it becomes redundant or too powercreep-y the userbase plummets

One thing I've seen in some DnD/Ttrpg circles is AI art usage for characters. I have mixed feelings on it, because yes there are free AI art sources, but it is also stealing art. However, some may not be able to afford it and want to have drawn characters.
