Good Morning

I love this ridiculous game. Goofy characters and weapons. Amazing score. Fun gameplay. Douglas Adams style humor. One of my favs from the OG Xbox.
Armed and Dangerous (Planet Moon Studios/LucasArts) was released 22 years ago today.

"Take a band of gun-toting rebels -a robot, a madman, a mole and a criminal mastermind. Then give them an impossible mission - pulling off the biggest heist of all time in the middle of a war."

Still the funniest Thanksgiving bit ever put on television. Be sure to watch until the final line, which I want to quote here…but I shall restrain myself.

BOTD: Scott Bradley (1891-1977) who wrote music for the MGM cartoon shorts of the Golden Age.
Bradley was an accomplished composer who felt that music for cartoons was a true art form.
I consider his work equal to that of Carl Stalling, his better known contemporary at Warner Bros

I have those 12 other people blocked already
bluesky loves to tell you their own spin on your joke, which is fine, but they are also very dedicated to making sure they don’t check the replies to see if 12 other people already made that same joke first

And I'm here, to remind you
Of the mess you left when you went away
It's not fair, to deny me
Of the cross I bear that you gave to me
You, you, you oughta know

actually They Might Be Giants aren't a comedy band. you see the singers for comedy bands all have chemistry teacher voice, but they might be Giants combines both Math teacher voice and AP US History teacher voice

It's important to note the fact that Wendy Carlos, whose 86th birthday is today, was the first trans woman to win a Grammy award, in 1970, for her iconic classical album "Switched-on Bach," recorded entirely on the Moog synthesizer which she helped Robert Moog develop.

Counterpoint: Bond dies in every movie in different ways like Kenny from South Park. Sometimes the same actor returns in the next one, sometimes they don’t.
James Bond’s death in No Time to Die is causing a nightmare for the next film. Writers are stuck because Bond “was blown to pieces.”

Anthony Horowitz, author of three 007 novels, says:

“You can't have him wake up in shower and saying it was all a dream."

Back when I was going to Columbia College we would sometimes be filming our projects in Grant Park in the morning and see the fountain spring to life. We would like that they couldn’t turn the water on until Mayor Daley was done with his shower.
