As I told @josephcox.bsky.social for this piece, if DHS is concerned that the actions of their own officers might inflame public opinion against the agency, they should work to increase oversight and accountability at the agency — rather than seek to have the evidence banned.

Seriously. A comedy writer couldn't come up with a better try hard who fails at it than Kash Patel. He doesn't have the vibe to pull off Tough Guy. He's a Tom Haverford. A Dwight Schrute. A pathetic wannabe despite being the head of the FBI.

May he spend the rest of his life pretending to be someone else due to the taint of the Trump Administration and the gutting of the FBI following the name Kash Patel for the rest of his life.

May a court bar him from ever working anywhere near law enforcement ever again. May the only time people hear his voice be in person.

Kash Patel's life is going to be all downhill from here once Trump is gone. He'll lose his law license and he's already lost his podcast audience. May he never land a TV deal and may he spend the rest of his life in poverty. May his victims sue him until he accrues a debt he can never pay back.

I can't get over what a fucking dweeb Kash Patel is. It's like seeing a coked out Aziz Ansari try a manosphere schtick. A man with no internal motivations other than flagellating his boss to the point he wrote a book where he was the good wizard protecting "King Donald".

This is almost as bad as the infestation NYC saw in the 1970s, in which violence would often break out between the Baseball Furies and the Gramercy Riffs or you'd be caught in a rumble between the Lizzies and the Boppers. Terrifying times.
