Libraries can be an amazing place for community building. They provide essential access to resources and information and a space for community gathering! As an autistic child they were an accessible way for me to access human connection. If you don’t have a library card get one.

My job mandates the use of ChatGPT now. the job has changed from writing factual articles to correcting fictional articles.
i’m very open to ChatGPT having some utility. but a few times for If Books Could Kill i’ve asked ChatGPT to aggregate existing sources of criticism for a book. what it produces are without fail almost entirely hallucinations. and not just one, i mean lists of 5-6 articles that do not exist.
