Another example of why you can't trust Supreme Court beat reporters for major media outlets. Way, way too invested in the importance of their beat to acknowledge the corruption of the institution they cover. Nina Totenberg making "friends" with RBG is another example.
NEW: Jan Crawford's attack on SCOTUS "corruption" narrative was its own substance-free narrative.

On Face the Nation, CBS News's chief legal correspondent went after Supreme Court critics as "dangerous." And yet, her court defense was completely lacking in specifics.

The NY Times just goes through the same Rolodex of voters who help them build the narrative they want to create. Rigged journalism.

Showed Pluribus ep 1 to a newbie. A fun thing I hadn't noticed before: when Carol and Helen are at the airport after the book tour, they move in unison, and communicate nonverbally, like they're their own two-person hivemind.

In this Indiana diner, everyone has three questions: How's the breaded tenderloin? Is the quarry hiring? And why is the Bloomington Herald-Times running articles that lack quotes from Stephen Miller?

Two babies were born in New York within a year of each other, soon after WWII.

One, Rob Reiner, lived a life of humanity and achievement. He brought us delight and joy. His memory will be a blessing.

The other, Donald Trump, will be remembered as an embarrassment to our nation.

It is the end of an era for sure. Although a lot of books seem to be so long now a mass market no longer fits in a pocket. That could just be me though.
All my recent books went from hardcover to trade paperback and almost all of my backlist in mass market has now migrated to trade. The role of mass market paperbacks is now handled almost entirely by ebooks. I'm okay with this but it is the end of an era.

Here is why Skyrim is weird.

There are Dwarven ruins everywhere, but you can never find a Dwarf. I've looked all over, and all I found were these demented little dudes who ride pigs. No way they built all those places.
Here is why Skyrim is weird.

You have a thousand locations that are mostly similar. Here's an orc village, here's a Nord village, here's a elf camp, etc.

Oh! And here's costume party that takes place in a demented clown's brain and all the goats can talk and you can win a wand that's a dildo.
