It is the end of an era for sure. Although a lot of books seem to be so long now a mass market no longer fits in a pocket. That could just be me though.
All my recent books went from hardcover to trade paperback and almost all of my backlist in mass market has now migrated to trade. The role of mass market paperbacks is now handled almost entirely by ebooks. I'm okay with this but it is the end of an era.

Here is why Skyrim is weird.
There are Dwarven ruins everywhere, but you can never find a Dwarf. I've looked all over, and all I found were these demented little dudes who ride pigs. No way they built all those places.
