This is disgusting, man. Following in the literal footsteps of the Klan. And from what I understand of Jackson, and the folks I've met from there, well, let's just say one side of the cookie did this and the other one is going to step up and fight this alongside the victims.

This kinda imperial hubris is just fascinating. It's obvs not true (the Taliban are back in power, the communists still run Vietnam, etc) but more than that I find it baffling to want it to be true. The replica (I believe, correct me if I am misremembering) of this arch that they have at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum is one of the most chilling pieces, to me, when I take my classes most years. Absolutely disgusting to see somebody use it in a Halloween parade.
