At 30 - Knowing no Japanese, I quit my job and moved to Japan.
At 40 - Started working in comics, a medium I loved. I now have 2 Eisner Awards.
At 50 - Took up fencing, having never done a sport. I now have 2 silver medals.
You are finished when you decide you are finished.

I think people misunderstand that IT IS OKAY if a book makes you UNCOMFORTABLE, sometimes that is the author's intent, but what YOU DO with those feelings as the reader is YOUR responsibility, not an author's, and which is why using that discomfort as a crux to mortality police makes you a dick

I guess a Trails opinion I firmly stand by is that Elliot is actually a really well developed character but with more subtle development throughout the Cold Steel games and Reverie.
I honestly don't like when people put him in the same ballpark as Emma and Gaius cause I actually feel Elliot's /1

I'll say it again, Art is communication.
"Create for yourself" really means "Create art that communicates who you are." And one sided communication feels terrible. Commenting on peoples art/creations can be scary, I get it. But COMMENT. COMMUNICATE. We want to hear it. I want to hear it.
