Not a real cat. Plays cello sometimes.
In very suburban London.
Has adult kids, which seems to confuse people in unexpected ways. Absolutely cannot draw and fascinated that some people can!
Big fan of muting accounts that don't get jokes.

That's not true.

Useful precision is definitionally not pedantry (which has to be excessive to qualify).

if someone punches your neighbor and you go to protect them, that does not make you a protester. that makes you someone who protects your neighbor.

Yeah, we pay £9.90 per prescribed item in the UK - so the more expensive the item actually is, the more you want that prescription 😅

(Doctors will sometimes say, look this is cheaper over the counter, here's the product name, just go buy it - if they think that'll help)

"We should accept that Britain is no longer a global power" is a reasonable suggestion.

"Therefore, we should submit to the most belligerent and threatening power," reveals both what your understanding of power always was, and your own lack of a positive vision for the country.

Places like mcdonalds mostly franchise, so in practice local branches are often being run by smaller local businesses that just pay in to use their branding

(Although that did massively fail for pizza hut recently, so actual Yum Brands is running the ones that stayed open in the UK now)
