It also should be clear; the reason sports have been such a galvanizing target for attacks on trans people is that sports institutions have so normalized our culture's ingrained sexism and racism through biological essentialism that trans people's inclusion is a deeply dramatic rupture to the myth.
I've gotten a lot of hate from other trans people for "prioritizing sports" over more important trans issues and I'm going to be real with you, I am not prioritizing it.
