After the most recent Elon oligarch f@ckery and pending government shutdown the week before Christmas, I finally had to deactivate my Twitter. I hope this platform will continue to grow, particularly as the shit really hits the fan after Jan 20.

No one understands the change, grief, and loss at this stage of life like my buddies at "Somebody Somewhere." Maybe the best show on TV (best of all time on best friendships), and sadly it's ending despite so much more story to tell. It's on my long 2024 grief wrapped list.

I think I have it. Bluesky feels like a huge personal party, where you can wander around, meeting great people, making friends, at your own pace. If people are freaks, you can have security escort them out. It's FUN and FOOLISH and SMART. I think this is what social media is supposed to be. SOCIAL
