An Israeli intelligence assessment says the number of protesters killed is in the thousands, not hundreds. Bear in mind there’s always an agenda at work. But The Economist’s Shashank Joshi says the figure is “plausible”.

No flag
No insurance
No problem!

Rustbucket zombie-tanker ARCUSAT/TAVIAN/TIA will enter Baltics in ~3 days.

This will be her third fetch of Russian oil since October.

No flag, no state, no identity and no registry -> she is basically lawless.

Some would even argue states have obligations here.

In this first (and maybe last?) Basiji Soup, we’ll look at… the Islamic Republic of Iran, its disinformation operations, its hypocrisy, how it sells its atrocities as virtue and its repression as morality, how it serves the Kremlin, and the current protests against it.

Basically another instance of the Trump administration saying that rules, institutions & partners don't matter - only raw power. Getting harder & harder to see how European govts can work with the US in these circumstances. Its approach is inimical to the interests of small & medium powers. 2/2

According to AIS data this is bollocks to speak European.

There are 8 Chinese and 0 Russian vessels in US waters, none in Greenland.

What a great day for Vladimir Putin! I can picture him in the Kremlin, watching the EU & the UK play dumb while Trump trashes Int. Law, their media reporting Maduro's abduction as an 'arrest'. I bet he's thinking: Should I also detain Zelensky and subject him to Russian justice?
