As my Twitter pinned says:
My feed is the equivalent of me walking out into the woods every day & screaming into a coffee can just to get it out of my system
I only follow people that I want to see in my feed.
I don't follow people just so they follow me back and help give me engagement numbers. Clout.
I'm not here to be spread around or heard. I'm here to get it out, to vent.
Last thing I want is strangers commenting... Telling me I'm wrong.

“I’m strong and I want to have like fifty kids and a farm” of course you do. You’re twelve. “I don’t want to eat vegetables I think steak and French fries is the only meal” hell yeah homie you’re twelve. “Maybe if there’s crime we should just send the army” bless your heart my twelve year old buddy

While I hate being on Twitter, it's more productive.
This kind of a circle jerk here.
I've put in a decade of training that algorithm. Blocking who I needed to...
My feed is great there.
I don't interact with the undesirables.
Nobody in that bubble gets in my bubble.

This is exactly why we shouldn’t infantilize these monsters.

They’re not just teens, or boys, or kids or the cute wittle images in memes.

They’re racist, misogynist, possibly pedophile 👇🏽, obviously intelligent, thieving criminals.

Treat them accordingly.

I'm sorry but they're gutting the Dept of Education, rolling out plans for mass deportations--including sending migrants to Guantanamo--dismantling the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and the NLRB, and the Atlantic's first issue of the Trump era is "How Progressives Froze the American Dream"?

The AP should stop covering Trump events. Instead send those White House reporters out into the field to report on the harms and repercussions of his policies.

The U.S. public never needed coverage of pseudo-events anyway.
Associated Press: “Today we were informed by the White House that if AP did not align its editorial standards with President Donald Trump’s executive order renaming the Gulf of Mexico as the Gulf of America, AP would be barred from accessing an event in the Oval Office.“

I’m not sure what the AP style book for “fuck you, make me” is, but if they bow to the right wing language police here, the AP might as well close up shop

in what meaningful way can we say that the constitution is in effect when an unelected and unaccountable billionaire is wielding state power to unilaterally cancel congressional appropriations?
Hearing that DOGE went into the Dept of Education today and shut down almost the entirety of the department's in-house research arm, Institute of Educational Sciences, cancelling contracts totally about $900m.

This makes more sense when you remember 3 things:

1. He doesn’t want people who do their jobs, only what he tells them to do.

2. He wants to privatize everything so he can give contracts to his friends and donors.

3. Less oversight means he can get away with more.
REPORTER: With your efforts to reduce the federal workforce, are there any concerns about protecting the public?

TRUMP: Everybody is replaceable. We want them to go to into the private sector. It's our dream to have everybody almost working in the private sector.
